SAMAN KHAN
Saman Khan is a Chartered Accountant turned filmmaker with a passion for in-depth, analytical storytelling. Rather than relying on shock value or sensationalism, she explores complex topics from multiple angles, aiming to provoke balanced, thought-provoking conversations.
Her transition into filmmaking began with funding an award-winning scripted film Twelve, starring Leslie Ash, which served as a valuable learning ground. She then directed her debut short documentary, Uncaged, following a queer Syrian musician. The film had a highly successful festival run, winning multiple awards.
